Our original flock was 6 RIR and 6 RSL and it was difficult to tell some apart. I believe our hybrids were a RIR rooster over a White Leghorn hen (I may have that mixed up but RIR and White Leghorn were the "parents"). I know there are other pairings for RSL, too.
 
well I carefully picked up the other eggs to see if I could hear any peeping or crunching, and I didn't hear anything.

but the other 2 are well, and eating and drinking water. and they are so freaking cute!! I can't wait to get the bator cranked up now!

should I toss the other eggs???
 
luckily we tossed the other two eggs. one was about to blow!!! and the other never developed, must not have been fertile. so 75% fertility and 50% hatch rate.....not so bad for a first timer, I would say
