Surprise Duckling Shipment Mid-Winter

Baby pool seems like a great idea... and we are going to need a second one with the new additions anyways so may as well get it now. Thanks for the help everyone: leaving the images of the ducklings here for anyone interested! One of the ducklings is occasionally resting their head on the ground instead of keeping it propped up like the others. Thread about it here:

oh! they've arrived safely! What is the weather like there? Did the box come to your door or did you go pick it up?

good luck finding a baby pool in RI in the middle of winter! I keep a bunch of them in the barn for when one gets a hole in it and use the damaged one for brooders. I buy them when they're like $5 so it doesn't break the bank.

I would just steal the one we have outside right now... except one of our ducks loves to swim no matter the weather.

Ok, so how about this idea, just order that WalMart fencing that I have. Put plastic, cardboard or something on the floor so it's not too cold and more cardboard on the inside of the fence. Duck tape it to the fence! :celebratehttps://www.walmart.com/ip/Dog-Playpen-Black-8-Panel-30-H/620579569 Just be sure to put pine shavings or something pretty thick on the floor and put puppy pads over the pine shavings. I got the puppy pads at Sam's club and loved using this last summer. Makes clean up a snap!

Great idea @DuckyDonna!

Another option I'll throw out would be to use the pine pellet bedding, it's with the horse stuff at TSC. They seemed to last longer and cleaned up easier than the regular pine shavings for me.
