We picked up our chickens five weeks ago, and tossed this one in with the others that we ordered. The feed store guessed that it may be a Partridge Plymouth rock, but as of earlier this week, I can state that this is definitely not that. The first hint was the changing of the leg color, then this week puffy little cheek feathers started appearing. I'm very excited about this, we have one other Easter Egger, and we welcome this one too, if that is what she is. I've never seen this coloring, so it was quite a surprise. It's hard to get a picture of her sitting still, and this was the best I could do. The one from above shows her emerging cheek feathers.
