Also weird note but I noticed their bills curve down a tiny bit more then mom or dad. You can see it a little in the top pic. Is that just a hybrid thing?

Little update, they've been dubbed Toffee & Mars! They're just starting to get tiny little tail feather nubs.

I have a sneaking suspicion I have a male and female. It's just a hunch, but one is slightly larger and has a different build then the other. Gonna have to see if I'm right later down the line .

I'm also still waiting on the testing company to get back to me on genders.

I sent eggshells . I'm not sure about keeping them yet. I have the room, but I can't have more males. So if I kept one or both they'd have to be female. If they're male I'll send them to good homes.

The test was just because I wanted to know sexes and was curious. But I've been (unfortunately) playing email tag with the company.

The bags got mixed up during shipping so they've been emailing me trying to get things figured out.

Well, my hunch was wrong . Both babies are male according to the tests.

Looks like I'll be finding homes for them in the future. For now I'm just gonna let Hershey be a mom and enjoy watching them be adorable .
