ok, still trying to figure out these breeds, is it possible this one is a

Blue Andalusian

the one on the left in this picture

the legs are dark on the front and lighter on the back

well

it is now saturday

still no chicks

means 4 day now in a box and no delivery sunday so means 6 days in a box

for sure all 25 are dead

just called ideal no person closed weekends

left message for them

when i called them yesterday the lady said if you dont recieve them saturday to call ideal leave a message and they will call me monday

we shall see

stinks to lose 25 chicks at once because of either usps mess up or ideal

no clue at this point

but it has officially stopped me from ever ordering through the mail again from anyone...ill stick to local folks for anymore birds here

Not due to deliver until August 28th.

I wish I new more about breeds and sexing them though.
I'm learning though. I guess I need to be patient, it will come with time.

Updated pictures at just over three weeks old. Any ideas on the breeds of 1, 2, 3 and 4?


In the first picture ( I kinda goofed up the numbers on 5,6,7 after that picture but they are breeds I know)

Still not sure what the ones with the silver heads are, the naked neck got much darker, the BO looks fine

I'm still thinking blue andalusian.

The other chick still appears to be a barred rock, I did no repost her pic. One of the BO's and the other suspected roo got out of the mini-coop and have disappeared. Everyone else still healthy and happy.
