Mist curled up tightly, so that Blade wrapped around her. She felt happy and safe. She licked her fur, then drifted off to sleep. (Fast forward to day.)

(OK) Blade nudged Mist to wake her up "Time to go hunting!" he exclaimed.

Lilac licked Odin sleepily and got up "We'll go with you." she said "When Odin wakes up." she added.

He kept pace with Mayan, before he bounded slightly ahead of her when a bottleneck narrowed the passage. They really hadn't decided where the finish line was, but since they were swimming, the larger wading pool they'd back passed on their way back, was their best bet.

Mayan was slightly behind, but she didn't mind . She was happy to even have contact with another wolf

Nomad ran through the bottleneck passage quickly, but faltered as he saw a large rat snake sunning itself right in their pathway. He hesitated and lost his lead, as Mayan passed him by.

Mayan laughed as she passed him, but stopped at the waters edge, waiting for Nomad
