<Survival of the Fittest> A Woods RP

Kebechet finished her rabbit and licked her paws contentedly. She was thinking of just either going back to her thicket, or exploring, but she may as well hunt for something else. There usually wasn't much food, so getting as much as you could was important.

Getting up, she quickly licked her fluffy fur coat and searched for something else to hunt. Kebechet was thinking of hunting a deer, but they were harder to kill and that would be way more than she needed, and it would go bad.

Mayan smiled "Thank you!" She said thankfully, knowing he could have kept the most nutrient - rich parts to himself. She noticed he seemed sad and asked "Whats wrong?" She asked, concerned

Nomad looked to Mayan at her question, then realized she picked up on his melancholy. He turned to look down at the deer and said elusively, "Ghosts from my past are haunting me." He scented the air for dangers, before returning to feasting.

Nomad stole glances at Mayan. He knew he'd confused her, but he just couldn't talk about Naka and their young. He was relieved she hadn't asked further. This meal was what he'd needed, small game was fine, but there was only so much rabbit a wolf could eat. He'd pause to listen and look around. "It has been awhile since I've had deer. Being a lone wolf has its benefits and its disadvantages. Thanks for this, I am most grateful. " He said to Mayan while he took a breather to let his meal settle, before he'd eat some more.
