Harli's eye lids drooped, and her head fell to her paws.

Ginger yapped, her tiny pink mouth open. She wriggled away from Harli's belly, her own belly plump, and full.
Ebony snuggled closer to her mother, emitting quiet puppy whines.

Sasha had left the den a while ago. Now she recalled Lia's words about dinner. She wondered if she would mind if she dropped by to say hello.

Swampson remained silent, watching him go. Then, he stood and headed for the church den. It had been a long, tiring day, and Swampson was done with it.

((Nice, wasn't it. I have another character with a very similar past, too, because apparently when I first started role playing, I was fascinated with characters who had lost loved ones or something. Not thinking I'll bring him here, though, 'cause he has a very thick accent that's as hard to write as it is to read and understand.))

As Endigo walked along, he thought. His brain was a rushing torrent of thoughts, all colliding with each other. It was almost a headache. He growled to himself, and his eyes narrowed. Jargo was a scoundrel, a murderer... why would he want to have pups?

Finally, Endigo stopped dead in his tracks, bumping his head into the side of the Alpha den.

Everest saw his alpha, and walked up to him, his ears and tail drooped in submission. "Endigo, sir? May I ask what's troubling you?" He said quietly.

Ginger made her way over to her father, yowling. Her shut eyes stared up at him, as if she could see.
Jargo chuckled and placed her back beside Harli. Then he leaned over and licked Harli's cheek. "I'm going out to hunt, love. You'll need food to keep your strength up."

"Ah, um...." Sylver eyed Taj curiously, then bent down and took a bite of fish. A big bite. Her face hardened. "Ah, Taj!" She burst into laughter, trying hard to finish her bite. Swallowing she said slowly; "It's very interesting." She chuckled. "Thanks alot." She shoved him with her nose.

Taj laughed as well. "Yeah, it's an acquired taste," he said with a shrug. He looked happily toward the fish Sylver caught, then sighed, knowing they'd need to get it back to camp before long.

"Well, Sylv, it's been a trip," he said with a content smile. "But I think we'd better get that fish back home so it doesn't go to waste." He shook off again, though only a fine misting of water came out of his fur that time. Then, he picked up the fish to carry it for Sylver and waited for her to take the lead.
