Quote: Jargo looked at Teal and nodded. "We should go, Cobalt. It looks like Delano has Dixie, so we're done here." he said. Tarro loped up, and stood silently, as if awaiting orders. He had changed from the pup he'd once been, so full of life, unafraid to love and be loved. He was now just a killing machine with a desire to do his father's evil will. Jargo acknowledged him with a nod and a reply; "Tarro, why don't you come along, huh?"
Tarro nodded, never speaking, and took his place beside his father, on the opposite side, so that he didn't infringe on Teal's space. He copied his father's movements without looking at him, clone like, and the two began to lope towards the border, not waiting for Teal.
Dixie, meanwhile, was beginning to pant. She remembered what she'd said to Mystery; she remembered thinking that she was on Teal's side... her thoughts whirled. In one last desperate attempt, she turned to run, despite the fact that her brain told her she couldn't outrun or overpower her massive opponent. Just as she tried to run, she felt his jaws close on her back left leg, and the sudden stop caused her to jerk to the ground, where she lay, helpless, doomed to be Delano's next victim.
