The man suddenly remembered a very handy item that he had in his pocket. He grabbed his radio and said "I need backup over on the Holly Bush Path, Newberry Park on 115 Avenue. Can you come help me with some stray dogs?" A crackly voice replied "Yeah sure."

((Eep. )) Sonya didn't know or care what the human was doing. She lunged and snapped her teeth together on his pantleg, just barely missing his leg. Snarling, she shook her head back and forth, hoping to either scare him away or knock him over again.

Jargo growled back, not moving from his place. "You can't force me to give her up, either!" he growled, his eyes blazing. "And"---he advanced towards Scout---"If she leaves, she will have to leave Melanie behind! Which means that I have the freedom to kill Melanie!"

(What if Jargo gave Melanie to Blue because Layla leaves?)

Layla almost fainted with fright. She closed her eyes, and snarled. "I haven't left yet." She growled. "We can't force you, but," Layla took a threatening step toward Jargo. "We can shred you to pieces." Her eyes blazed with fury.

(Sure! That will work, but Jargo is gonna have to do a heck of a job getting Layla to leave her pup! XP But yes, I like that plan.

Right before the man turned off the radio, he saw the dog lung at him, and screamed, right into the radio, making the backup more urgent!

Layla almost fainted with fright. She closed her eyes, and snarled. "I haven't left yet." She growled. "We can't force you, but," Layla took a threatening step toward Jargo. "We can shred you to pieces." Her eyes blazed with fury.

(Sure! That will work, but Jargo is gonna have to do a heck of a job getting Layla to leave her pup! XP But yes, I like that plan.

If you kill me, which you won't, he will take my place, and he is a dog that even you, a fiery girl, won't be able to kill. And he has strict orders to kill Melanie if I cannot!"
