Quote: Layla, completely engulfed with fury, walked, snarling, closer to Jargo.

The dogcatcher grinned at the dogs 2 extra dogcatcher trucks pulled up. "Now what's your plan?" he said to the dogs, not caring that they didn't understand him.

Sonya felt the rumbling of the trucks approaching and let go of the dogcatcher's pantleg. She looked around, tucking her tail in fear. She was definitely not a fighter, and was feeling less confident about the odds of three dogs versus three dogcatchers. Her hackles rose a bit and she charged at one of the backup dogcatchers, only aiming to tackle them to the ground.

Jargo's panic rose. He figured she would've backed down by now. He barked a command to one of his packmates. He figured some help wouldn't hurt.
Layla flicked her ears back. Him getting help was not good. She didn't know how much fighting experience Scout had, and whether or not she could fight two grown male dogs. She was an excellent fighter, and hoping Scout was too.

The man was prepared for this, but he was not as mean. "Whoa. Easy, girl! It's okay... it's okay..." he soothed gently, pulling a slice of chicken from his pocket.

Sedna bared her teeth at him.

Scout whinned, but then shook it off. He did not want anyone to get hurt...

A large snarling dog loped up beside Jargo, then looked incredulous. "You called me over here for this?!" he grumbled. "Shut up, fool!" Jargo snarled. Rex looked Layla over. He then scoffed and began advancing.

Sonya, of course, didn't hear the man and went barreling into him, though upon catching the scent of food, she backed up with surprise. Still feeling quite defensive, she maintained a threatening stance at a few paces away, though her eyes were on the piece of chicken and her nose was twitching as she sniffed curiously. She took a timid step backwards, her eyes moving to the dogcatcher. He certainly seemed different than the other human, but could she trust him?
