Right before the man turned off the radio, he saw the dog lung at him, and screamed, right into the radio, making the backup more urgent!

Kira laughed inwardly, and opened her mouth, clamping down on the man's arm. She shook her head side to side. (Hope this is okay, if not I'll change it. Poor dog catcher!)

Layla pressed against her mate snarling at Jargo. Melanie barked from inside her cage, oblivious as to what was going on.

Jargo, deep inside, was panicking, though he showed no emotion through his hard shell. This stupid mutt was really causing problems for him. He continued advancing, though, figuring he would just call her bluff.
