Melanie's pups were growing fast. Their eyes were open, and they were beginning to play with each other.

Jargo whipped his head around from looking at Golden Pack. "What?" he asked, excited.

Rex smiled. Now was the time to tell Melanie; the pups were old enough to leave this home. "Melanie...?" Rex said, padding into the den.

"Jargo, we're.... we're expecting pups!" Harli squealed, her eyes dancing with happiness.

Melanie was laying on her belly, playing the the pups. "Daddy!" Flag yipped, and scampered over. "Daddy, daddy!" Smokey and Paisley howled, running behind their siblings.

"Oh Harli, that's wonderful!" Jargo yelped, eaping up into the air.

"Daddy's back!" Daisy squealed. Two more pups ran from Melanie. "Where'd you go, Daddy?" Snowy yipped, her white fur growing long. "I just had to go do something." Rex smiled. Rex had been working on making his claimed turf more safe.

"I know!" Harli cried, jumping at him.

Melanie rose to her feet. "Everything okay?" She asked, her voice soft. She smiled at her pups. Flag was chewing on his adopted father's tail. He was looking more like his father everyday. Paisley yipped, and batted at Snow. Smokey sat a little ways away from the rest of the pups, a serious look on his face.

Jargo looked at Rex and Melanie's den. "Have you seen them training the pups at all? They sure don't act the wat they should; happy and carefree, not a single one with responsibility. And they seem to like Endigo when Rex goes over the border with one... what do you say we pay them a little... visit?"

"Oh yeah, everything's perfect!" Rex grinned. More than perfect, he thought, smiling inside. "Flag, get of my tail, you stinker!" he laughed, playfully nipping at his son.

Harli's face turned serious. "Yes. I think we should." She replied, and started towards the den.

Flag plopped off his father's tail, and yowled in mock anger. Melanie looked at her mate, a confused, and interested look came over her face. "Perfect?"

(BRB, for about a ha;f an hour. We're watching a part of Charriots Of Fire.)

Jargo loped after her, snickering. Rex and Melanie were gonna wish they'd never had a family.

Rex laughed and picked up Flag, carrying him into the den to keep him safe. He was more protective of him, since he never knew if Jargo was gonna try to "cull" him out of the litter.

(NOOOO! Have fun... :/ I'll be waiting.)

(Thanks, Pipd! :D I'm so happy! XD Jargo and Harli are having pups; Rex and Melanie are going to have their own pack; BTW, their pups are 2 weeks old. :D)
