Rex laughed and picked up Flag, carrying him into the den to keep him safe. He was more protective of him, since he never knew if Jargo was gonna try to "cull" him out of the litter.

Flag growled, and playfully batted at his father's chest. Melanie smiled warmly and laid down again; her body ached from nursing and caring for 6 puppies. Although she loved them dearly, they were a handful.

Harli lifted her head and tail in a proud stance.

Jargo trotted into Rex and Melanie's den site. "Well, well, well!" he snickered. "Look how they've grown; and just the right age to be trained as KILLERS!" his voice turned to a snarl as he said 'killers'.

Daisy whimpered and hid behind Rex, but Butch marched right up to Jargo and glared up at him. "Go away, you meanie!" he yipped, trying to be ferocious.

Jargo chuckled. "Ooh, what's thiiiis?!" he asked, snarling at the little pup. Butch tried to stand his ground, but he failed after looking into Jargo's murderous red eyes. He ran behind his father.

"Get out of here, Jargo." Rex growled, taking a deffensive stance in front of his pups.

Melanie stood up, her body small and weak, but she curled her lip at the alphas. "This is our den; we would appreciate it if you left." She said, her voice tense, but calm.
Flag stood up, and took his brother's place infront of Jargo. "Leave you big meanie!" He yowled.

Jargo looked at Flag; suddenly, without warning, he lunged downwards and snatched him up by the neck. "Well, well, well: it looks to me like this one is going to be just as rebellious as his father was!" Jargo snarled, grinning. "I don't need that kind of trouble."
