Melanie burst into tears. "Please Rex!" She whimpered.

"Oh I hope so." Buck grinned. "But Jargo might let Harli have the honor."

Harli nodded, leaning against him. Her heart pounded inside; she was actually scared to death.

This only made Delano's teeth sink further into Layla's back in fury. He kicked as hard as he could with his hind feet at the dog beneath him, then made a somewhat clumsy roll to one side to get away from Stone, unused to holding onto something while fighting. Taking a moment to catch himself, he ducked his head down and ran at full force toward Stone's side.

Layla screamed in terror, and flailed her paws, trying to get away.

"No! Get back to the dens! Now! This pack has no Alpha! This pack is a doomed pack, and if you leave, Jargo will kill you, and your pups!" Rex howled.

Endigo was filled with fear. He knew that this dog had no heart, and a strange blackness in it's soul. He knew he was in the jaws of a merciless killer.

"Oh, my love, just hang on!" Jargo wept. "Just hang on..."

(I won't ban you... you are one of my most valuable members of the RP, and it would be a true pity to see you leave. Just, please, I beg you, don't let Harli die! I really like her... it's strange how you can get so attached to a RP character.)
 
Delano looked to Rex, then practically threw Layla to the ground at Rex's paws. Coolly, he turned to again face Stone, his eyes gleaming. And slowly, a smile crossed his maw, a bone-chilling grin made that much more terrifying by the red tint of Layla's blood on his teeth and muzzle. Without a sound, he leapt for Stone with all his might, aiming for his enemy's throat.

Melanie burst into a fit of tears. She nudged the motionless form of Banner, then raced away to her den.

Buck walked on, he tightened his grip on Endigo's scruff, just to inflict some pain.

Harli whimpered, blood dripping from her throat. "Don't cry.." She gasped. "You'll look like a fool infront of your victim." She winked at Jargo.

(I know what you mean. Sometimes, I'm not really attached to a character, and then when the RPer thinks they have too many, they'll have them come to a tragic end. It makes me want to cry..)
