(( I try. ;) ))

Upon seeing Jargo, Delano bowed his head. "Sir. Permission to report?" he said in his low voice, straightening up, but maintaining a low stance out of respect.

"Speak." Jargo growled, looking suspicious. He stood tall and stiff, his hackles raised, his teeth slightly bared, his tail carried high over his back in a dominant arch.

Delano nodded slowly, then began to report. "Layla has escaped. I was misled by Rex into believing that he would keep her captive while I fought another dog." He maintained his cold exterior, though he avoided eye contact with Jargo. "I have failed you. I will take punishment without question." He fell silent, his head lowered a bit, though something else occurred to him to report. "Sir, you may also be interested in knowing that Layla's child appears to be littering. That is all, sir." With that, he braced for his punishment.

"IDIOT!" Jargo roared, leaping down from his perch of rock, which jutted out of the ground, making a sort of throne. "Can none of you do one simple thing you are commanded to do?!" he bellowed. He glared into Delano's eyes. "I oughta tear off your ear..." he snarled, "But I have another task."

He looked at Harli. "I'll be back in a second, love." "Delano, bring me Rex. He will be punished for this!"

"Yes, sir," Delano replied, not missing a beat. He turned and swiftly vanished into the night, following the same trail over again back to where he had last seen Rex. "I have my orders," he said coolly to the dog, approaching him slowly and threateningly.

Melanie whimpered writhing in pain on the ground. She looked up at Hollyleap; "Help." She whimpered.
(SILKIESFOREVER! WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?!)

Jargo padded into Melanie's den. He cared not that she was giving birth. "Where is your mother?" he growled. "If you cannot tell me, I will have to kill you."

Rex backed up, fear filling him. "No! No no no no no!!!" he tried to run.
