Surviving Minnesota!

White precipitation is falling peacefully from the sky. Ooops strike the peacefully.....I am at work and still have to drive home in this crud.

I just got home from St Cloud, the roads are not as bad as they seemed in St Cloud. I did take 10 home instead of the back ways but we did 60-65 the whole way.

A friend of mine and myself went to Fleetfarm, harbor freight and then went window shopping at Arnold's. If everyone would chip in a few thousand bucks I could actually buy at Arnolds. So much stuff I need and so little money.

Here is our Great Pyrenese "Yeti". He turned 1 last week. Isn't he a magnificent beast? We love him! Holmes you can pet this one. I know our neighbors down the way don't let you.

And not to be forgotten our lab/Pyrenese cross that was more interested in the deer leg than a picture. This is Kepler.

Frozen egg day, again.

Cuddles still has a healthy looking comb. The Legbars have lost their points. The cuckoo Maran are still holding in there. 3 nights down 157 to go.

I am not looking towards a good hatch rate on the first hatch., between roosters that may not be fertile and eggs that might have gotten to cold. I am hoping to get a 30% hatch. We will see.

Next time you window shop at Arnold's say hi to my brother in law Mike. If you would've went across the highway to land of the lean mean green machines I'm sure you could've found etching to fit your needs.

Ralphie I see your new avatar is St. Judy.

The 3 girls I got from you are doing well they roost together with no problems at night. During the day they mingle but also hang together at times. I haven't sat with them long enough to see if they use the nipple waterer so I still keep the other water font availably. Cannot tell who all might be laying besides Cocoa but I did get 5 eggs today, out of 13.

That is a self photo of me. I took it looking into a mirror.

My birds are so screwing me over with their lack of eggs! If it was not for the toads I would be getting skunked.

I did not get one egg out of the coop yours came from.
