Good morning all. I'm waiting for our warm up to go open the pop door. Juniors wattles are coming down from their swelling. I watched him yesterday, felt his crop... He's able eat and drink. So I feel no pressure to intervene yet. The days on end of sub zero just are wearing.

I have a bad cold. Started Friday. Yesterday I knitted on the couch. That's it. Certain People at work maybe should have stayed home. Peeved right now that I have it. I had plans for a x-c ski today. Will binge watch a show or something.

Oh, nothing grinds my gears more than sick co-workers who won't stay home, they come in, a huge snot bubble, and just spread that crap around! Worst time of year? 2 weeks after school starts, cause their kids bring all that crap home, and after Christmas break, cause they all got together with the sick relatives.

Sweetie is laying again. (Ee that lays green eggs). She took a 3 week break. She is my only olive Egger. But she has special powers....my 5 year old nephew has a hard time going to school and has behavior issues. So sweetie only gives him eggs when he is good. Aunties stash of sweetie eggs was down to zero.

That is so sweet!

This is the current state of our "driveway"....SW North Dakota. Even in the winter - This place really is breathtaking. Literally, the wind blows your breath away!

We were up in Two Harbors for a hockey tournament the past few days - came home to nest boxes full of frozen eggs. It's always a bit of a bummer. I usually toss the frozen eggs, but I think I'm going to start keeping them and feed them back to the birds.

And, of course, my favorite part of Duluth and Two Harbors are the breweries! We hit up Fitgers, Castle Danger, and Bent Paddle. Came home with 7 growlers plus some fresh brewed Root Beer from Fitgers. I need to bring a bigger cooler my next adventure that way....

Mine haven't layed for a couple months now.. hopefully they start soon.

Did anyone hear about the possible water main break in Blaine? I heard it could have been an overall system failure as well. We heard about it when we were still in Duluth. We live north of Blaine, but a few of the hockey families we play with live there. Times like this I'm glad I have a well.

Did anyone hear about the possible water main break in Blaine? I heard it could have been an overall system failure as well. We heard about it when we were still in Duluth. We live north of Blaine, but a few of the hockey families we play with live there. Times like this I'm glad I have a well. 

Our schools water always breaks.. We've gone 2 days without water at the school. Glad we have a well too

THey just talked about it on the news. there was some kind of glitch in their computer system that allowed the water tower to drain down or something it sounds like.

I guess a wresting tournament was going on, no bathroom for hundreds of people. I also heard a hockey tournament was called. I also heard due to some type of software/system issue.

Morning . Put the new front hitch on the truck Saturday . Easy install . There were 2 hooks mounted on the truck frame . Impact wrench took those off and bolted hitch on using the threaded holes .
