Surviving Minnesota!

LOL I know, they never say anything though, they just leave the thread and we never hear from them again.....

Yep that's true! I do read the Guinea thread and after someone is told about what their "pet" guinea will become in the spring you never hear from them again lol

I figured that when you YELLED at poor innocent me..

The light blues and greens are so hard to get the colors right in pictures, even on white backgrounds they look washed out a lot. I might have to take a class from Holm's in photography.

I'm sorry I yelled at you

The birds all came out today at noon- when it got above zero. They got some kale and an over ripe mango. Just so they could feel tropical. They were dying for their dust bin! So cute. They lined up and jumped in took turns. They usually do it after a cold snap. I spent some time down at the run as it looks like we'll be losing our lily today or tonight. She's got the tippy wing look to her. She did fight for a mango piece but she's about done. Cold weather was hard on her. She's an internal layer. Poor thing. Kids said their good byes.
She's a tough bird but I think this is it.

Sorry about Lily, I had a Lily once.
I went to the grocery store and got my girls spinach and spring greens today. I might have kale in the green house but the door has been frozen shut since Christmas

I either have to use a torch to open it or wait for the thaw. Last time I checked the kale was still good after it warmed up inside!
