Monday afternoon the stomach but hit out house. I had to pick out our 9 year old DD from school. She puked every 5-15 mins for 4 hours and then a couple times after that in the next 2 hours. Poor kid had it pretty violently. I wasn't feeling a 100% so found a sub for Tuesday to stay home with her. 2.5 years of teaching in that school and first sick day I have had to take. Doing pretty good there. I had a bug but no puking for me. We slept the day away in the living room Tuesday. Wednesday 11 year DS said his belly her and DD still had a belly ache just no more vomiting. So they stayed home Wednesday. Everyone went to school Thursday, yay! Last night at 11pm 7 year old DD pukes in her bed. It was a long night. Every 15 mins or so for the first hour and then it spaced out. But it has been a long night! Good thing I don't have to work today at school. But I do have a large concession to run starting at 2pm for High School Wrestling. Then there is an youth tournament in TRF tonight. As long as both boys are feeling well tonight we will get out first wrestling matches of the year for both of them! It is an exciting time. They don't always win but we enjoy wrestling. Youth wrestling is it's own kind of zoo though. I really wish some parents would realize they are kids. Things I have heard said to kids as young as 4 make me cringe and want to hug that child and tell them, "Good job! You had the courage to go out there in front of many, many people you don't know and wrestle (touch) another kid you have never met or seen before!". Then Saturday is Elementary Basketball for our 9 year old DD in Oklee. At least there is no travel this weekend. 13 year old DD has a game tonight in Warren. She will have to ride the bus because of everything else going on we wont be able to make it up there to watch. Sunday has a whole schedule too! Then I have to fit in time to write a 3 page paper/review on a website for Grad school! Say a prayer I find the time to get it all done and feed the chickens!
I did move their feed outside to force them out of the coop more during this warm spell.
