Good morning jerry. I don't know what to tell you about dw and the -42 number other than we haven't seen that one for a couple years or more. I think polar vortex two years ago. And yes during those times we don't go out . Lol. Cars are fueled and groceries bought and fire places are stocked with wood.

I must say that hunting seasons might not be as lengthy as yours...? What are you hunting? Rabbit? Or do you still have a deer season down there? Like Texas?
If so remember your back straps. Lol

I just have no idea how to end it, I want to keep them protected from the cold (if we get it back) and I want to make sure they breed the way I want.

I even bought them a Xylophone to play with but they are ignoring it.

I am thinking my egg eating is spreading to the outdoor birds too though, I have not gotten the eggs I thought I should have from those in outdoor pens either.


I am going to make the pens bigger and less of them for next year.

I know, it is kind of a balancing act.

They are each in their own cage today to see if I get any eggs.

I am thinking of hanging an apple and maybe making a swing for them. They have 6 inches or more of litter on the floor and dig through it all the time so they should not be bored...

I need to go read past posts. I have made myself a BIG Gingers and its probably the first alcohol I have had in a long, long time. Whats up with that?

I love Big Gingers!!!!!! I have to be careful though. They sneak up on you. You plan on just having two....and next thing you know it's 4am and you're in the front yard making snow angels with the dog.

I just had an appointment. Only an eye appointment... I need glasses....

Glasses are the new thing, Holm. Make sure you get some black hipster glasses. Then, you just need to side swipe your hair and wear jeans that are about 10 sizes too small for you. You'll have to swat the ladies off of you.

We are trying to marry off Holm. We have about three folks actively involved. And we are all showing up at any future neptuals. Of course this hangs on his ability to saddle a horse. Poor kid.....but he's holding his own!

I actually found a few nice places for a reception. They have beer, vodka, whiskey and hammerschlagen. I don't feel like we need much else.
