Red leakage shows up in my cockerels? Not Cochins but still? Why would it not show up in the blacks?

My black cockerel died yesterday so I contacted the breeder.
I'm thinking of getting a Black pullet, possibly a splash cock. I was hoping for a black cock and splash pullet but he doesn't have any splash pullets right now...

Which one do you guys like? The 2nd one is one of his breeders right now

The family is home and invading my clean house which is clean no more. and 5-6 loads of laundry is being processed now for the week. Kids are glad to be home with their dog and their comforts (head phones and devices) They like being snugged in at home and I like them here too.


Everything is damp and wet again. Bedding, the run bedding. 3 days of melt and mist and rain this relative humidity has everything just not good for chickens. Poop is not frozen. At all. I could not live in the Pacific Northwest. I gotta say. Yuck. The temps are staying up...and higher than forcasted for the most part. So that melts ice. I like that.

Ralphie, I had an egg eater (hatchery stock barred rock) I upped the protein by giving out dry cat food as treats. No more egg eating. Just watch....Tomorrow I will find her in her glory with broken egg.
