Awesome Ralphie! Youre quite the builder!I have built a special roll-away cage for the egg eaters. I am convinced they are not going to be able to eat the eggs. I got a PC egg and a Dom egg today. I also started building new feeders to try and cut down on waste, I am so tired of throwing out have the feed I buy when I clean the coops.![]()

The following is a video to show how it works. This is an re-enactment no eggs were hurt or killed in the making of this video...
Dead cow.... fell in the tank couldn't get out. She was a 4-6 year old
Oh thats terrible. I am sorry to hear that but it does happen. It happened to a calf here but luckiky we saw it happen.
Got a time lapse video of a chick hatching. He is in the incubator drying off as we speak. Still no Buckeyes hatching only mutts.
And it's time for a really confusing question. So tonight I got a blue chick with a single comb and no feathered legs. Now the only roosters old enough to breed are two Buckeyes and a Barred Roosterr who got butchered. The only birds I can get blue from are my Cochins. But it has no feathered feet. I examined it up and down to find little fluffs but there are none. And it has not head spot like a Barred chick would if it was out of the Barred rooster and no peach if it were out of my Bucks. What the heck is it?
