Surviving Minnesota!

We are hanging out in Hill City this weekend at Quadna Mt. Did some crappie fishing and just hanging out in the townhouse rental. All of DH brothers and their families are here. He has 5 brothers. One is not married and between the rest of us we have 14 kids here with us. One child is not here with us this weekend. Thank goodness it is not below zero and they have all pretty much played outside or went fishing during the day.

Omg I'm on cloud nine right now. Sweetie our green egg layer is officially a mom and our 2nd buff orpington just hatched. I thought I only had 1 Bo egg at lock down then I pulled out my old people glasses and examined the markings on my eggs through the incubator glass and found I had 2 viable eggs.

Want to take a trip up north to steal the birds back?

Depends are you driving? I would be right on your way.

I all truthfulness holms can keep them, my feed bill was cut in half. I'm pretty sure they could poop twice as much as they ate and they ate alot!

Speaking of that Holm, After you left the cats came out and I actually held them both! GC almost took my hand off again, but she did purr a little and OC loved being held.

lol I am trying to find an efficient way to feed these buggers! These pipe feeders really aren't as good as I thought. The birds have it empty in 2 days! And my bantam Cochin trio is going through the same amount so I know it's not just the big birds! :p

Anyways congrats on the beautiful healthy babies! :)

BTW THIS FEEDER IS NOT RALPHIES MODEL!
