Beautiful birds Cluckies!

lol I am trying to find an efficient way to feed these buggers! These pipe feeders really aren't as good as I thought. The birds have it empty in 2 days! And my bantam Cochin trio is going through the same amount so I know it's not just the big birds! :P

Anyways congrats on the beautiful healthy babies! :)

To increase the amount of feed use a 6 or 8 inch pipe. 2 days makes me happy.

Am I the winner?

If you have to ask,,,,,,,

Good morning....

I have 2 PC chicks! It appears ED is only good for stew now.

OK BC, you won, even if you are north of hwy 210.........

There are a bunch of eyes looking back at me when I look into the hatcher. I guess late is better than never.

Cluckies, with that much bare ground showing in the photos it is obvious that you are located in the Banana Belt! Nice photos by the way.

Ralphie, congrats on the chicks. Perhaps Ed's lack of libido was part of your problem last season ? He apparently was appalled by the habits of his associate, and decided that he would never be involved in anything which would be considered unwanted sexual advances. Perhaps his lady friends just need to be a little more assertive in communicating they are willing to be cuddled and what ever comes with that ?!

I am thinking you are right. I should have known the first year I had him and he was allowing the chicks to crawl all over him like a hen, that he was different.

I put a hen in with WeinerHead last night. I even felt sorry for her. Weinerhead starts dancing as soon as he sees me bringing a hen towards him. He is at the door of the cage waiting when I open it. If I did not get my hands out of there fast he would jump her and my hands. He has no manners in that way.
