Hello! Lots to catch up on - and DH drank all the coffee while I did

UPdate on the little henny with shell probs!!!
~ She's fine. Let her out the morning after doctoring; put her alone in a pen; and then let her out with her friends 20 minutes later. She promptly gave me 2 wonderful eggs this week.

Others have been leaving little egg ghosts as I call them on the floor of the coops over night (shell less transparent eggs) So I have left them locked in to get back on their correct food diet. We had a stretch of 50 and 60 degrees for a while there and I think they spent ALL DAYS outside and didn't get what they needed nutritionally. I hope. If not - then you who said it might be a genetic thing might be right then I'll have the play the "who are you" game and cull

I love this thread! Each of us have out little conversations to tell and each of us read them and say hmmmmmmmph. Isn't that interesting. The grandparent stories, the weather happenings around the state - what Jerry's doing down south - what ILL is doing over there in No Dak and now Mordecai (? you know who I mean) in SD. Love it.

So funny you say that! I was catching up and many many times I went "Hum! Cool!" or "Oh gosh....that's too bad".... and even yell out random tidbits to my DH who pretends that he knows what I'm talking about. Truthfully he doesn't realllllly believe you all exist. This is probably what he thinks you all look like

Lol the one where she is digging in the water was in Lake Superior. We were looking for agates and she decided she wanted to find rocks too. So she would go get rocks and bring them to us and go get more lol!
