Regarding stealing photos and watermarks...


I feel so guilty for using Holm's picture. I thought it was mine, it was my chicken at my home, if it is the one I think it is.....Therefore, I concluded it was mine..


Now as I have thought about this it is Holm's fault I stole his picture. Had he had the forethought and intelligence to put a watermark on it before I stole it, I would have realized it was his...


Therefore; Holms is responsible for my using his photo\. Furthermore; My lawyer thinks I have a good case for a lawsuit against him for not taking the easy step of watermarking the photo, and the pain and suffering I have felt since being accused of photo theft. Further the embarrassment of publicly accusing me in front of all my friends here at BYC....


I think I am going to be receiving 50% of his income and potential income for the next 40 years....

What is going on here?

I live in the Banana Zone same as Cluckies and Ivie. We have certain expectations because of the climate here. I just peeked at the forecast on my IPhone for next week. We do not get above freezing until next Tuesday. 5 days below freezing?? Come on give me a break. What is a stretch like that called?

I have never heard of such a thing. I thought we were in the midst of global warming. Why am I burning all these old tires if the temps are not going to stay above freezing?

This could mean I have to carry water again. I hate carrying water.




Cluckies. I feed mine cat and dog food, kind of. I am almost afraid to admit this here. but my special birds, get a few pieces of the fake cat food or dog food ground hamburger. I found it turns a stand offish bird into a bird that wants to be held and monkeyed with. I learned this at the Hutch show last fall. When I guy was using it and his birds were going nuts for it.

I find it way more pleasing to tame a wild rooster than Jerry's pervert method

And I know EJB will not think kindly on me for admitting this..

Well, I may try hamburger, as they didn't touch the catfood I put out today...

I did grind it up into a finer mix, and I'll put it back out tomorrow and see what happens. Fi is the culprit, and she is just awful! I may have to separate her, she has gone crazy!

Are you kidding your.chickens didn't attack you when you spilled a few bits of cat food? Ours go hog wild for kibbles-n-bits.

I'm in AZ, but yesterday a couple from MN came by and bought 7 dozen hatching eggs from my "Aloha" chicken project - an American version of Swedish Flower Hens. They are driving home and going to put them in their cabinet incubator. Giving you guys a heads up in case they appear in your area in the future. It is very rare to see them outside of this state. They are pretty spotted chickens, and good layers of cream colored medium sized eggs. Hope they get home safely and have a good hatch! Sharing in case they do hatch, and later you guys are like "What the heck are these, and where did they come from?" LOL.

My EE Honey will come knock at the garage (shop/tavern) door if she knows I am there and begs for cat food, if the weather is nice and the door is open she will just walk in and stand there staring at me. She is one of the old girls, I quit naming them a couple years ago but now I have the broody PC she needed a name so a friend named her Gloria. Now I have to sing to her when I visit the coop. G-L-O-R-I-A Gloooorrria Yea i'm nuts.

I'll have to get some kibbles and bits I'm thinking! I just had Purina cat chow. Only thing my cat will eat. No other cat food, and No people food, ever... My animals are weird.

So as I am trying to win Regina over I took some hamburgar out in tiny pieces. She loved it and acted like she was starving. Reggie keeps an eye on everything I give his ladies. And he has been leaving the coop area to free-range.
