Did not rain overnight . Still in the morning forecast but not the afternoon . Ground still too cold to plant green beans . I need to plant the tomatoes before I leave . Probably sake . I consider the 15th fool proof . So beans and squash after my trip . Sunfish should be spawning when I return . Gotta catch some . Love fishing the spawn .

Ralphie, I hope that Judy is doing well. I suspect that the physical stress is minor compared to the mental stress which she is frequently subjected too. At her job and not from you I mean.

The weather looks very good for the next few days, and it is a beautiful day for our first pigeon race of the 2017 season.

Is there a minimum distance you must be from the starting point to enter. At the risk of sounding like a snowflake, it hardly seems fair if a pigeon 5 miles from home gets to put his time against one 500 miles from home...
