Surviving Minnesota!

Lvie, I hope your girl is going to be ok! Oh I hate when or girls get sick.
Careful regarding Black Bears. I know many believe them to be harmless and frightened of humans, but that is not always the case. Just recently a 16 year old boy who was competing in a running race in Alaska was attacked and killed by a Black Bear.
My Great Grandfather was killed and partially eaten by a bear near Barnum, Mn.
Holy cow! There have been several black bear sightings not far from me in the banana belt. I'm getting more amd more afraid to go out there at 3:30 in the am. :(

Psst.. Erlibrd Princess's twin sister would like to join Princess,,,,

She is in the cold cage again...

She is broody for a week when I finally get her broke, she is good for two days then broody again......

You should stop and save her, She could be headed to the freezer before long. This constant broodiness is more than I can handle. I am sure you would do better with her than I do.,

I have not had wry neck here.--knock on wood--

I despise chicken problems, Ivie. I feel your pain. Sylvia hides from the flock but her scalp is healing and she's pretty spry. My dad said to get rid of the rooster, but then heard all the good stuff about him. He then offered to just let nature take its course. So idk. Seems to be the easiest route for now. If she gets in a bad way then I know what I'll do.
