Surviving Minnesota!

Good morning erlibrd.
Congrats Holm - good job and you do good listening and learning. Kudos to you.
Beautiful MIL BC. And nice berries.
My life is so ho hum. Like just now the dogs went barreling out the door barking at a deer across the river. I am never going to have deer to watch because of my four-legged critters.
Hows the building coming Jerryse? The DH has cleared for the mound and septic systems. The building he is putting up does not have a basement. I finally found out it is 72 long and 44 wide. Waiting for cost estimates on the shell itself. Kind of exciting but its more his thing than mine.

Good morning ladies. Here's hoping that you have a day full of good things. I work today. DS works at 1. I have my blueberries ready for the freezer this morning. Kept out 3 small plastic flats for snacking.
The cockerel gang and junior and girls enjoyed some soft berries.
We prepare the camper this week for our family reunion gathering over in mcgregor. It's always fun.
But the week is steady with getting the coop cleaned, feeders topped, waterers to the brim, grocery shopping, etc etc.

Morning crazies...
BC, bringing any chooks to the reunion?
Holm, maybe you got some amazing peeps to help you, but you still listened and applied what they taught you.
Ivie, my dog chases all the deer off too. Stinkin' dog, those were some great photography opportunities.

I know you've all been on pins and needles waiting for my update. Beginning coop build today.

Oo an other coop build going on. Nice. We are renovating a 60+ year old coop we inherited from my husband's great aunt. Spent the weekend putting new shakes on, need to pick up way more bundles than we thought so we can finish (most expensive coop roof ever) but it's looking good. Got new windows just need new plywood on the inside and patch a few holes in the floor and a few boards for siding. Then we'll be set to put up perches and nesting boxes and all that good stuff. And my dad decided it needed a cupola so he's gonna build one for me.

Good morning to all. Very nice coop there Elise.
It will not be a productive day here I do not think. I must stay near the house phone to accept a call from the AC repair guy. If they call and don't get an answer they will not come.
The central air quit working properly yesterday and it is forecast to be a high of 84 here today. So we need it to work well. Since the little woman refuses to retire from her business she is likely to come home tired, hot and cranky ? That is not good because she is required to prepare my dinner.
