Surviving Minnesota!

My 3 y/o is pretty cute. Doesn't seem to phase excitable old farmer. He's likely to argue with your kid over how much rain you got. Ad nauseam.

He sounds like a right character.

Does anyone here think they could make one of these?

I have an old girl that really needs one, she is so large she sways when she walks.
I probably could, for fifty bucks or so...

Seriously, though, what size is she? I could probably mess around with the sewing machine and make something. No promises but I could try.

Fred... Those were culls?
"Culls." Mike Gilbert had them available. They must not have made the cut for this year. The cockerel has one toe that is a little crooked. Heck if I can see anything wrong with the pullets, but my eye is pretty green. I paid $15 each for the pullets, $10 for the roo. March/April hatches.

I wanted to start our flock from quality birds. I may have over paid, but I thought plenty fair for quality started heritage birds. That was his asking price. I found it agreeable.
