I think I will be nosey and run out to Ralphies to butt in and meet Holm in person and talk chicken and maybe help with what they are doing or to learn something/anything. It just might turn out to be a fun day afterall.

So this would be October and not September. We could share a room IF I go - unless of course you take the family. I am thinking about going and doing some quilting in the shop in town.Uhhh. I want to go to hutch and see the pretty birdies and some Minnesota chickeneers!
That weekend is never good for me.

I wear an 8; I believe mine are an 8 but cannot find a size on them. I compared them to another pair of heavy boots sitting on the shelf. So I am ready to stand on that size 8 as a for-sure deal. I like them as they are so o o o comfortable and yet, made in the USA. They do tend to be a little on the warm side to work in during the warmer weather. Mine are over a year and no cracks but do need a good outside clean job - maybe a little bleach to brighten them up.THats it!! they are $40 here!
eta: do they run large or small? i wear a 7.5, so not sure if i should get a 7 or an 8

Hey chick friend - glad you fared okay - even if it was not really all that good. Lottsa work to clean up this weekend huh?Hi all, Hutchinson sounds like it'll be fun. No I won't be thereno bath for The princess.
Our power came on at 1:30 this afternoon so it was out 36 hours. I had ice and water, subway for supper last night. Not a favorite but quick and easy. Then when DH got home from work yesterday he pulled out this ancient generator from back of the pole barnit worked good but was SO NOISY !! He ran it for about 4 hours then shut it off. But it ran the fridge and freezer and kept stuff cold. We were able to flush, charged our phones and took showers!! Then this morning he ran it again for a couple hours before he went to work, so nothing thawed or went bad
We didn't lose any trees here but the tops of a couple broke and are still attached or hanging up on other trees. Some large limbs down that'll need to be chain sawed, and loads of small stuff. The coop and run didn't have any damage but limbs down in front and the back of it. So it was close, they were probably freaked out during the storm that didn't seem to last long at all. To us indoors anyway.
Hey backHey chick friend - glad you fared okay - even if it was not really all that good. Lottsa work to clean up this weekend huh?
