Surviving Minnesota!

Thanks MnChick Mom for your input on the BO's. They are beautiful and so is that RIR that flocks with them. I just wish they would give me some eggs.

I use bird netting it has been in place for several years.

I use posts and cross beams to spread the load out. It looks like a T. that way the load is not on one or two strands. It might get holes once in a while but cable ties repair them in seconds,

Do you have any pics you can send? Having a hard time visualizing the "T" set up

They have become Pussy Cats since they left the Gilman area............ BUT it does make one wonder about that area of the state....:lau:lau:lau:lau
More like they have temporarily covered their face-ripping-off tendencies in order to get the fake hamburger.

Fake hamburger has played a role in taming them...HOWEVER, forgetting to pay with hamburger after a good session can result in a set back.

I did have Mnchickmom's number one son try to reach into a brother of the psycho twins cage. He refused, so I stuck my hand in about 3 inches and the birds managed to bounce off all four walls and the ceiling 50 times in 30 seconds.
