Surviving Minnesota!

Is it drafty? The birds are way tougher than we are. They will do fine. I try to keep the doors and vents on same side. not always though, some times things just don;t work right around here..

I have tried to block them out of the rafters in the back of the coop where I get moisture build up now and then. That seems to work. If I did that in the front I would have ticked of birds and be hitting my head on the roosts more than I do now.

No drafts that I can find so far. Once we get everything finished up I think they're gonna be nice and snug in there. I was a little worried since there's only 4 of them right now and the coop is a little large but then again so are the chickens.

I have noticed a complete lack of trash talk regarding the birdshow this weekend...I am disappointed.

This has to change!

Before it does I have to say, there is a possibility the PC cockerel Knothead could wrongly be picked as the winner over Knucklehead..... I now some people near Foley think knothead is better. I will admit when cleaned up Knothead is a nice looking bird, and there is an 80% chance the judge will pick wrongly....like the Foley people did.. I of course pick Knucklehead. Other than his weird toes, crunched feet and too red of color he is the way better bird....

Holm I am ready to have my cockerel put your cull in his place!!!

Cream legbar wise, I am nit as confident of my first pick as I was. I am finding faults in him.

Not all my Birds will be trimmed and have finishing touches on them. I call those my "Jerry Finishing"...If he can win by just grabbing a bird I can too!:lau

I had chili at noon....Felt good today.

Ail my chickens are good,,,just ask me..

Canook did good tonight, she stopped and back up before she stepped into the air and fell to the ground.

Why don't you catch her? you may need some ACV as well.

Here is what #1 cream legbar cockerel looks like.

You mean she contemplated that there was a big hole there and then fell into it? Or did she backup and b4 she even fell? This communication could be urinating! I just don't understand! :lau
