I haven't gotten out of bed yet but looking at the hills we have some snow. Most of it blew around and caught in low spots
I am fixing some stuff on the coop today. Hopefully knowing if I can use a seperate building for the layers or cochins.

We lost last night so we are done for the season. I will miss all of the seniors so much. I have never cried so much in all my life together then when I hugged one of the seniors. I am going to try and go to some of the regional games. I think the team is kind of required to go to the championship as that is where they announce all regiom

I have released the birds!! I love the first real snow. A white rooster walked gingerly out 2 ft and went back in. An old hen stood on the dirt next to the door and just watched the snow waiting for it to attack..

The rest stood in the door, changing positions as they discuss the white stuff.

The turkeys came out (5 of them) but they are walking very slow and only standing on one foot....

Adding: One went out about 6 ft...Got scared and flew back into the coop. Hate to have to walk back!

We got about an inch overnight and it has just started to snow again now.

That photo posted of someone watching over a harvested corn field for their deer is a sign of an intelligent hunter. Corn fed deer definitely taste better than others.

Ralphie, I must admit that I do like call ducks, but I do not like the conditions required to house and manage them properly.

I believe it is about this time of year that Jerry is sitting back laughing about us fools that make Minnesota a year round place of residence.

Just glad I have rain and not snow today .
