Morning from the deer stand. Cool morning near the north end of Leech Lake.

Haven't hunted since opening weekend. Thought I'd check my trail camera on the way in this morning. There have been plenty of deer here, was hoping for daytime buck pics.

I didn't have the card all of the way in the camera. Guess I'll sit here and see what happens.

I went out this morning and gathered eggs and checked the feed. I did some running to town and came back here to wait for the forecast 36 degrees to hit to go out and do chores.....(or the wind to die down)...

It appears the meteorologist forgot to take an ethics class on lying to the public. I had 30 degrees at one point. I now have 29...The wind is still coming in around 189 MPH...

I nearly froze my ears off coming in from my car... I am now going to bundle up and go out... I will be voting the weatherman off the island this week!
