Surviving Minnesota!

Layers the Cochins are just amazing.

Ralphie Sadie is 2 1/2. I was just complimenting her early this week on how she’s turning into a nice girl. But she sure screwed up. She is probably the most intense driven dog I’ve ever seen. As a Labrador I’ve never seen such a thing. My sister has a gorgeous retriever crossed with yellow lab . He is so easy to train. Younger than Sadie. Better mannered. Just amazing. I saved the mitten to show sister and her dog walked right up and snatched the mitten out of my hand! Lol. Think there is lanolin in this wool yarn I picked out or something? He made several attempts to grab it. Lol. Crazy dogs!

Took some pictures of one of my Orp hens that finally finished molting! The second hen hasn't even started molting!

And my Dom pullet that is probably the best Dom pullet in MN....

OH NO! ! ! Sadie you naughty, naughty girl! ! ! Yes, we have the black lab now in addition to our two little gippers. Gotta remember that the black lab can look on top of counters and tables. She has gotten in trouble many times. I usually am beating myself with a newspaper for some of the stuff she gets into.
I cured my dog of nosing the counter top by putting mouse traps on it... Only took once!

Good Morning..
Nothing new to report yet,,,,Slept late and just got out of bed, but I did get my Coffee made, and opened my first yogurt of the day. Starting a new week with hopes of not doing a hospital visit this week...

As you age the tell tale signs of a successful week are so much less than when one is younger.
