Surviving Minnesota!

OK I have had a busy few days . Rented a trencher Sunday . Planted wild plums in the trench Monday . Mostly for wildlife . Boy did those seedlings get big in 2 years in the garden . Many 6' . Went hunting Tuesday . Rested and processed deer burger on Wednesday . Gift from my hunting partner . Today a seminar . Set some eggs yesterday .

Back in my college days, I won backstage meet and greet passes to one of Eilleen's concerts....man is she a tiny force to be reckoned with. I think she only stood 5 foot tall (with heels).

In case anyone is wondering the Song "Any Man of Mine......better walk the line" was a hit when I was dating my husband, that is how I got my new coop. :lau:gig:lau:gig

I am officially jealous of you for seeing her! Did she mention me at all?

Are you implying I spelt her name wrong?

Jerry, please share what you learn there. Stem cell medical procedures have been used on race horses for some time. I have been waiting for it to become available for humans.
Well it passed the wife test . Going in the morning for a consultation . Takes about a hour to check you over and question you . X ray included . If you are a candidate then you get to have the procedure . Not sure when . No insurance covers it yet . So about 4 K cost .

Sometimes things like that are worth it.

There’s a clinic in Florida that does an injection in the spinal column that reverses stroke symptoms in 80% of the patients. Sometimes insurance covers but most of the time it doesn’t. Cost to patients $6k. Patients that have success say they’d do it again.

The alternative is knee replacement, and the insurance companies do cover that. I believe that a will bite my tongue a while longer.
