Surviving Minnesota!

That’s amazing Jerry! Fun to hear that people noticing you better!

Ralphie sunnies and crappies are better than bullheads imho. And bullheads being the ultimate angling species in our great state. We all know what’s truly tasty around here. DS filleted these up last night. These are the ‘Christmas crappies’ we enjoy each year this time of year. They shut down on Dec 26. Usually and funny enough.

So today at coffee people noticed I am walking better . :celebrate Today is liquid diet day . Colonoscopy tomorrow . :(

Good luck on the scoping tomorrow!

While I dislike the scoping whatever drug they give you while they are "in there" is amazing. I can almost see why a person becomes a drug addict while on that...

Of course, I find everything "funny" while under it, and normally the surgeon and his support staff are laughing with me I hope...

My daughter said the last time The surgeon was still laughing when he came out and told her I was fine......It is amazing a person can laugh at anything with a 4 inch round 22 foot garden hose up their butt...

BTW as miserable as the prep is it saves lives! My daughter just had her first and they found a polyp. The kind that turns to cancer 100% of the time. I am so glad they found it!

May your colon be clean and polyp free Jerry!

Did he say what the shipping charges would be? I have wondered about that on older chicks. I sold a white legbar rooster to a guy in Idaho 6 weeks ago anf it cost 80 bucks in shipping and 20 for a box.
Hasnt said yet but Im really not concerned. They are what Ive been looking for. Lol Hard to find here. I will try and get a ball park.

Let the cockerel and cock go out for a couple hours today. They enjoyed it!

The blue almost lost his middle point to frostbite this last week. I was able to save it though! Thank gosh!

Well actually at two years old she is more alert on guests.she loves the sound of her own voice. She’s territorial and a barker. Annoyingly over board. If we lived on the main road she’d be a car chaser. She’s naughty.

Banty your coop looks awesome!!!!
And I saw ducks!
Yes you did! 9 of them. I'm already wondering why I signed up for this all winter, lol.

I picked out my keeper pullets (PB Buckeyes and mutts) and locked them up for a little while along with two Buckeye Cockerels. Ignore the pullet with wry tail by the feeder... I only kept her for the later flock...

And my only pullet out of my f1 Olive Egger that got killed by a raccoon last spring. She is one hefty girl! Weighs the same as my Buckeye hens! I think it's because she is sooo long.
