Surviving Minnesota!

Wow Cuddles....I'm impressed. Ralph, I have found...with experience....that the hens little tail feathers appear before the boys. Recently tested my theory again this summer. Picked through a bin of straight run SS & picked out the ones with little tail feathers. Sure enough....hens. They were on an end of season sale for .99 cents each. Such as bargin! They were about 3-4 days old.

It wasn't to cold when I got home this afternoon. This weekend I changed the lights in my coop so that they are on from 2am until 4pm. It is nice having the birds asleep when I get home.

Got my first recruitment letter for sports, University of Jamestown for track. Talked with my coach about what I am doing this year so far its high jump, 200, 400, 300 hurdles, 4×100, 4×200, 4×400, possibly the 100 and 100 hurdles, and I am trying triple jump too but I get one meet to do it and if it goes bad I have to drop it.
