Surviving Minnesota!

I am cutting way back too. I will hopefully only have two hatches for the year. I will try to sell off the losers at 3-4 months of age.

Nothing that has even a remote chance of beating M. Gilbert will ever leave here...... (he just has way too good of birds!)...

I will need some White CLB, as I have not got one of them yet, and they are not laying for me. I have a couple creams though.

I will be passing most the people wanting birds and eggs from me to Holm or MnChickmom. I might sell toads if I get enough though.

I have not gotten a Toad 2.0 egg since I changed the old rooster out. I am thinking the used cat saleman sold me a lemon of a rooster.
You think you're ever going to have a chance of beating Fegan? You were there; was his reserve american cockerel as absolutely fantastic as he looked?

Honest Ralphie’s used Cars and Chick eggs.

Well today is a different story. Slow decline for temps here too. Sheesh. Slippery stoop this morning. Ice season again?

Banty...?! The lower 48?! We are the state of hockey. ...
We are just getting back to reality!

I thought he looked better in person than he did in the pictures. That was a dandy of a WC.
Really?? Incredible. I bet if I put Schilling's portrait over him it'd be bang-on, at least in the tail. I have yet to lay eyes on (from the picture given alone, I have never seen nor handled the bird) a better example. He's really got something going on with his whites.

Banty here is a really good picture that Mr. Gilbert took of Fegans WC. That was one good bird! I totally agree with Holm he was way better in person

That's the image that I saw in the newsletter and stopped and gaped over.

I don't think I've managed to look at anything but that perfect tail yet. :gig
