I think riboflavin or vitamin B 2 is excellent advice for any leg problem in chickens. Polyvisol or a multi vitamin push in the water would not be amiss here.

Yes! Buff Brahmas. I was torn between dark and buff but I personally think the Buffs are just beautiful!

I have a small flock of light brahmas that I just got last spring. Hoping one of the girls gets broody and we can hatch a few more this spring, if we ever get spring, that is.

Thank you Ralphie. I love tending to my hens/ pets. But I know my limitations too. I get stressed when stuff happens also. So there’s such a thing as getting tougher skin when it comes to chicken stuff. I do think a couple week’s effort with that Brahma chick to help correct will save that chick... we’ll see.

I hope so..I turn over most of the nursing duties to Saint Judy. She is much better than I am at it.....and my phalanges are a tad large and clumsy.

Yeah so far none of them seem particularly maternal. Which is fine in the end but I'm open to being a chicken grandma

OK frustrated with sharing videos . So I thought I would try to upload to youtube . No luck . Get some message about confirmed email address . I am signed in and they have my email address . Says they sent me a confirmation email . Must of been long time ago . Makes my head hurt .

So the turner works but not turning on auto . So I guess I need a new timer . ughhh

Need to replace the front wheel bearing and seal on the tractor . Bet that is going to be frustrating . Front wheel assist . So a pressed on bearing . I do have a press but not sure if my press can handle that length . Going on should be ok .

A few baby pictures... The calves are really starting to pack on the pounds. This white heifer is going to be a dandy I think...

Angel and her new baby.. Not overly impressed with her... Big beautiful calf but she’s not mother of the year that’s for sure...

Heifer #12 and the calf we pulled last night... He’s got a big head lol...

“The Roan” and her BIG bull calf. Calf doesn’t look big but she is a monster of a cow and he’s over 100lbs....

I love seeing your baby pictures, Holm. Every time we drive by a pasture with calves and their mamas, I tell DH, "I wish I could just go grab one of those babies and bring it home!" And DH laughs and says, "You could try..."
