Today Dad called. Follow up ct showing more brain tumor recurring in the spot that was excised in August. He’s walking, talking and making logical decisions for himself . Soldiering on and for that I’m ever grateful. We are all dirt piles at some point in this journey but he’s pretty fun.

Well so far nothing in Canby. When I went to bed it was supposed to start raining at 5am. When I got up they decided snow by 8. It's now 8:30 and still dry. Fingers crossed.

I was going to cross my fingers for you, but then I read further down and saw that it was too late.... Nothing here yet.

I hope you get nothing...I was hoping for this to all go south....But in the last few minutes, I have decided NORTH would be a better direction for it.

I agree - NORTH would be a good direction for it.

The chickens must know it is coming, they ran out of the coop so fast this morning and have been out scratching for hours now.

I like the lack of snow, it cuts the feed bill to almost nothing. Even this time of the year their crops are full and they are waddling back to the coop. Of course, when they see us they run to us (or waddle) to see what we have for them.

I gave them some shell corn on the ground about a week ago and it is mainly still there. So I know they are not hungry. I use a scoop of corn on the ground to gauge if they are hungry or not. If it is gone they are hungry.

They have been under the flowering crabs this morning eating something.

We were in a severe thunderstorm warning here in Brown county. It went from sunny to pitch black. I think chores can wait another 15 minutes... I have to somehow get in to work....but I know I probably won't be getting home thanks to blizzard. I get off at midnight and have to be back by noon. HAHAHAHAHA Its supposed to get nasty down here by tonight.

I had a gal come for some silkies on Wednesday night. She seemed nice so I gave her a bunch of younger juveniles along too for free. Hmmmm wasn't even Thursday noon, she already had some of them relisted for sale. Yeah

You have got to be kidding me.....the nerve of some people. In all seriousness what in the H - E - Double hockey sticks is wrong with people and society now-a-days. Work for a buck!
