( I will now step off my soap box......work has me a little on edge lately.)

I want to a job, I want to be bartender in a barn wedding...does it pay tons? Do I get half of Oz's tips?

We were in a severe thunderstorm warning here in Brown county. It went from sunny to pitch black. I think chores can wait another 15 minutes... I have to somehow get in to work....but I know I probably won't be getting home thanks to blizzard. I get off at midnight and have to be back by noon. HAHAHAHAHA Its supposed to get nasty down here by tonight.

I had a gal come for some silkies on Wednesday night. She seemed nice so I gave her a bunch of younger juveniles along too for free. Hmmmm wasn't even Thursday noon, she already had some of them relisted for sale. Yeah

Hopefully your weather doesn’t get too bad...

Funny you say this.....one of our wedding guests was outraged that we (my husband, my 2 kids - {11 & 13 years old} and myself) don't get paid a cash wage for working these events. Our response was, "we don't pay for snow removal in the winter....it just magically disappears" - (my Father in law brings in the big artillery and blows it). Today's kids need to learn the art of bartering for services as well as working.

Disclaimer: We do get a free meal when we host these events so I feel we are compensated. And who in their right mind would want to be paid when having fun.

38 degrees here and the snow has stopped a light breeze still here......maybe 40 MPH..

I am guessing the storm has passed me by now, that was not much of a storm at all.
