An owl hit the patio door this morning, my two cats were sitting looking out at the time, I'll usually let them outside at dawn if they want out but hadn't gotten to it yet.

Why naturally, wouldn't you drop everything you're doing to run out and give the owl CPR? I know I would.

It sat up in a tree nearby watching the door, cats? after 2 minutes it flew off. So I think it's OK.

I blame holm for this.

If you are seriously looking for a good hunting cat, holm, there are quite a few spotted ones with stump tails that live back in our woods. They tend to be up in trees...

I couldn't reach it up in the tree, maybe if i'd have shot it to the ground I could try and save it then...
