This afternoon, I noticed one of the hens has got some goofy body language. She's keeping her wings untucked, away from her body and her tail is carried low. I haven't seen that before.

Looks like she's uncomfortable for some reason.

Overheating? Some of my birds are too hot at 60°F if it's springtime. They haven't adjusted yet.

TFred the wings drooping is a heat issue. Junior was carrying his wings low too, yesterday. I think they can release heat from their little armpits and cool too. That is the simplest explanation.

With the drastically different weather this week in comparison to last week. I gave a dose of electrolytes to everyone this morning. It will be a one time thing to help them through the temp swing.
