Surviving Minnesota!

Well I found a deer tick burrowed into my arm... I was wondering why that dot was so sensitive. Never had a tick bite hurt like that...

Morning . Some heavy rain overnight . More coming soon . So much to do but too wet . I went grafting yesterday afternoon . A learning experience . Trying to get better at walnut grafting . So the guys were generous with scion wood . Now I have more to do . Got Persian / English walnut , Pecan and mulberry . All named cultivars . Travel day today . Granddaughter graduating High school . So nothing gets done today or tomorrow . Grass needs mowed again .

Wazine is the brand name I use, if I recall. Or is the wormer or whatever.....I seldom use it.

While your looking buy some Dairy ivermectin. (if you put it on your chickens the lice, fleas and stuff will die) BUT it is not legal on chickens.........Mine normally get accidentally splashed when doing my milk cows.

Yup it is a lot of hatching!! :) They are due around the 22nd. I will have Icelandic eggs but havent decided what to ask though it will be reasonable. More if I incubate eggs for someone.

I can definitely break out the incubator and hope I get a good hatch! Let me know when you figure it out, and I could meet you in Kellogg or anywhere from there to Winona to pick eggs up :) .

Sounds like a plan. :) I added a new roo so waiting for them to adjust to him, right now I only have three fertile eggs.( I did test fertility) In December I lost the old roo so been growing his replacement out, plus the hens went through molting and broodiness. Gah. I guess they have to get it ALL out of the way before consistent laying again lol.
