Surviving Minnesota!

Very young! They were 600lbs in March. The person we bought the herd from, was not an honest person. We lost ALOT of cattle when we first got them. Not good.. We spent a lot of $ vaccinating over and over again.
This one was obviously pregnant.
The not honest people will impregnate the cattle, so they weight more when they sell them.
Hoping more of them have babies, just to make up the cost.
That’s an awful thing for a seller to do. Sell them cows as pairs. Bottle calves ain’t goin for jack. Do you buy steers too?
 
Buy from sale barns, from a guy. Apparently that guy isn’t allowed into the surrounding sale barns anymore. Word has it, that he’s buying these cows from Tennessee and people were buying from him.
Why do they care if he buys cattle in Tennessee?
 
Getting close to weaning time.
