Surviving Minnesota!

We have fresh snow here at the head of the lake and a high predicted to be 21 degrees. The chickens will free range and are learning to follow the herd of Bison to find morsels. Soon the Bison will migrate South to the Mn. Banana Belt and the flock will have to adapt to following the herd of Musk Ox.
I believe in climate change, but if anyone believes it is materially impacted by human activity please instruct the humans it is too damn cold here and has been for a considerable time. This summer was subpar as well, but I know cold, hot, wet or dry it is all the fault of nonbelievers.
Thinking about it now, I believe that things climatically took a turn for the worse about the time Ralphie decided to enter the political arena. Could there be any connection there ?

I would have outlawed any temps below 40 degrees and above 72 degrees had I been elected. There is no good reason some one before me had not taken this one step to stop climate change.

BTW we received a light dusting of snow last night. This is unacceptable.

This weather is not fit for man nor beast.....but the beast (Toad pullet) decided to go broody again....under the coop again. We even offered up the RIP Toad services assuming a predator took her. Do I dare tell the son that he doesn’t need to set traps and sit watch with the 22. Hmmmm I think not. Let him do something constructive.

One of my pullets I kept back this year for a layer. She is a massive bird... HUGE... Not sure what she is... She has Buckeye and Dom and who knows what else in her.. She should be a cold surviving machine..
