Surviving Minnesota!

Never shared this one with you guys before. My mom got in in the MSPA auction.. She was just trying to bid it up and got stuck with it.

You are the most pathetic batch of non-posters in the world.....

How am I suppose to enjoy my morning tea when there is nothing new to read?

I am so excited it is almost 25 degrees here. I eagerly await the 42 of tomorrow!

I have a nearly empty wild bird feeder tray, but alas, it is useless to fill it. There is a royal palm hen that has learned to jump into the tray and eat from it. I am going to try and get a leg band on this hen, in case something evil has to befall on one of my turkeys, I will know which turkey the evil should befall on.

I am thinking the evil that befalls this one should be a move to a new domicile somewhere between Wauban and Frazee...... I think it would make an excellent ice fishing mascot.

BTW I was forced to buy a new bird feeder because of this Royal Palm hen..... The reigning WW of the north becomes one of the devils minions when she sees it on the bird feeder. Her eyes turn red and smoke is coming from her nose, it is a fit of rage like most have never seen. She grabs her primary mode of transportation and opens the window and swings the broom at the bird. It takes her several attempts to hit the turkey. Judy was never any good at softball. During the wild swings and misses, she can clean off most the feeders on the array. She broke one last week when it hit the ground.

Hey I’d take a troubled turkey! We work hard to turn troubled birds into good little law abiding citizens.

We are completely insulating the garage and getting our brooders set up. Birds are starting to lay and some starting to squat.. ‘Tis the season of high electric bills and noisy chicks..

Ralphie, it is commencing to snow once more in the Northland, but it is lake effect snow so likely will not make it as far South as your old stomping grounds in the Blackhoof Valley ? I know you really wish you were still living there in God's chosen realm as opposed to the oppressive heat and humidity you must deal with in the Mn. Banana Belt.
Better get that problem Turkey to Holm's as soon as possible. It's activities at the bird feeder could be grounds for a war declaration by Miss Judy.
You could potentially find yourself banished to the Togo vicinity ?
